WHO ARE WE?
Cage Stars was founded by us, Mr Alex Senechko and Miss Christina Senechko in early 2022. The idea of the business arose following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine which occurred on 24 February 2022. We are Third generation Ukrainians, born and bred in Manchester but grew up immersed in Ukrainian culture, celebrating the traditions and regularly take part in social events organised by the large and growing Ukrainian community here in Manchester. We attended Ukrainian school from a young age and speak the language fluently. Our grandmother was born and raised in Ukraine and came to the UK in 1990. Our father shortly followed a few years later in 1993 and settled in the UK.
Trying To Make A Difference
Since the outbreak of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, we, along with all fellow Ukrainians across the world have been deeply horrified and lost for words by the shocking and unlawful acts of aggression against the people of Ukraine. The whole community have been working together, gathering
supplies and necessary resources to be sent to Ukraine to help support the Ukrainian army and citizens.
In light of this, we wanted to do something a little different and use our knowledge of MMA to create a business which can help us to continue to raise money and awareness for Ukraine and support a good cause. This was where Cage Stars began…
